Quintessent – Raw Vegan Restaurant

I love all kinds of different types of  food, I can’t say I’m vegetarian because I do eat meat, but today my dear friend Moises dela Renta took me to this wonderful little spot that I have never being yet, it is one of the oldest raw, vegan restaurants in the city and I just loved it, Moises is friends with the chef and is a frequent customer of the place.

I ordered the Green Soup (photo above) the  fresh house blend consists of kale, spinach, celery, extra virgin olive oil, sea salt, lemon juice and avocado which was $8.50 and Moises ordered the tacos which we splitted  between us and it was absolutely amazing.

Taco crisp corn tortilla filled with mock refried beans, guacamole, cashew ‘cheese’, ‘sour cream’, and lettuce. served with our home-made guajillo chili sauce

this is to die for and is only $7.00 dollars! yum
